Our Mission

Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church exists to lead the world to worship God through serving, loving, evangelizing and discipling people. As a body of believer’s we are committed to belief in Jesus Christ as God incarnate and the only way to salvation, pure worship, exemplifying the fullness of the kingdom of God, loving one another, maturing the body of Christ and raising the next generation as a Godly seed.

What we Beleive

This is a condensed statement of faith.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and in the authority of the Holy Scriptures. The Bible is not only God’s inspired Word (2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12;  2 Peter 1:19-21), but we also believe God has preserved His Word for all generations (Psalms 12:6-7; Proverbs 30:5-6; Revelation 22:18).  The King James Bible is what we preach and teach from exclusively, believing it is the inspired, inerrant, infallible preserved Word of God and accepting it as the final authority for our church.

We believe in the Trinity:  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that they are equal in divine perfection (Genesis 1:26; Matthew 28:19; I John 5:7).

We believe the Genesis account of creation. ( Genesis 1:1; Exodus 20:11)

We believe that God created man in His image, but by voluntary transgression man fell from his sinless state.  The Bible teaches that as a result of Adam and Eve’s sin all are born with a sinful nature (Genesis 1:26; 3:1- 6; Romans 5:12).

We believe that Jesus Christ alone can save us from our sin and salvation is a free gift from God which excludes any possible merit of works. We believe that Jesus died for the sins of men and paid the penalty for our sins.   (John 3:16 & 36; 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:8,9).  We preach the gospel (good news of the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ   (Romans 1:15-17; I Corinthians 15:1-4).

We believe in the imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We believe in the bodily, personal, premillennial return of Jesus Christ.  We also believe in the pre-tribulation rapture in which Christ will come in the air to catch away all believers. (I Corinthians 15:51-58; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 19:11-16; Revelation 20:1-6 ).

We believe that the local church is a New Testament institution established by Jesus Christ. Jesus is the sole head of the local church (the body of Jesus Christ) and is manifest through a group of immersed believers, associated by covenant of faith and fellowship of the Gospel. The church is to observe the 2 ordinances, fulfill the Great Commission, and be an autonomous (self-governing) local church answerable only to Christ (Matthew 16:18, 28:19,20;  Acts 1:8, 2:41-47;  Ephesians 1:22-23,  5:23-30).
