Pastor Charles Prescott, II, affectionately known as Pastor P is a man of many passions including seeking and serving God, witnessing to the lost, caring for his family, preaching and teaching the Word of God and impacting the community, especially youth. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor/Teacher of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Covington, Georgia, bringing a wealth of experience in ministry and leadership to the congregation.
Pastor Prescott's journey in ministry began in 2014 when he answered the call under the leadership of Bishop Abia Williams at the then Kaleo Ministries, where he served as an Elder in the church. He later served under Pastor Arthur Hubbard at Shiloh Baptist Church in Carlton, GA, where he was licensed and ordained. He then served as Youth Pastor at Salem Bible Church in Atlanta, developing deep connections with congregants and cultivating environments for spiritual growth. He also served as Men's Pastor at Covenant Church under Pastor Quincy Carswell II, continuing to focus on spiritual growth and community engagement.
In addition to his ministry experience, Pastor Prescott brings valuable leadership skills from a 16-year career in public safety. As the Chief of Police and Associate Vice President of Public Safety at Morehouse College, he has developed a strong foundation in leading with integrity, managing diverse teams, and navigating complex organizational structures.
Pastor Prescott graduated from Morehouse College in 2007, with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, and pursued further education with a Master of Science in Emergency Management from Walden University. He has also obtained a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Apex School of Theology. He is now a doctoral candidate at Columbia International University, continuing his pursuit of higher education and scholarly development.
A significant aspect of Pastor P's ministry is his proficiency as a speaker on biblical leadership, a skill honed through years of ministry and public safety service. This skill enables him to effectively engage audiences and impart valuable insights on spiritual and practical leadership principles.
Outside of ministry, Pastor Prescott is married to Lady Adrian Prescott, a dedicated school teacher. Together, they are committed to serving their community and fostering positive change. Their son, Charles Prescott III, is currently a junior at Morehouse College, reflecting the family's deep commitment to education and community involvement.
Pastor P is enthusiastic about the opportunity to serve Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and contribute to the spiritual and personal development of the congregation. He looks forward to connecting with each member and exploring how to grow together in faith and service.
